The Ministers of Electricity, Industry, and Environment will open the International Exhibition for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating, Insulation, and Energy Industries, next Monday.

The activities of the eighth session of the International Exhibition and Conference for Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Air Heating, Thermal Insulation and Energy HVAC-R EGYPT EXPO – ASHRAE CAIRO will start from Monday, May 13 to Wednesday, May 15, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center , New Cairo, where the exhibition will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of

 Electricity and Renewable Energy and the Ministry of Trade and Industry .

The eighth session of the International Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industries Exhibition and Conference is scheduled to be opened by Dr. Engineer Muhammad Shaker Al-Marqabi, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Engineer Ahmed Samir, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment

Several members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, members of the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Building Materials Industries, and the “Ashry Cairo” Association are participating in the opening activities, in addition to the presence of many heads of banks and financial institutions, heads of export councils, and several ambassadors of African, Arab and foreign countries in Cairo and “Ashry Pyramids Association.

The exhibition is considered one of the strongest and only specialized exhibitions in Egypt, the Middle East, and North Africa, in air conditioning, thermal insulation, ventilation, cooling systems, protection systems, spare parts, handling units, and control devices.

The exhibition comes within the framework of the Egyptian government’s interest in supporting the important role played by local manufacturing and the refrigeration and air conditioning sector, as the exhibition includes more than 250 Egyptian and international exhibiting companies on an area of about 25 thousand square meters to benefit from the enormous opportunities through the construction boom for major and unprecedented projects that it is witnessing. Egypt currently represents a huge market in the Middle East and Africa.

These companies display the latest technology in air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, heating, thermal insulation, and renewable energy.

A large number of (consultants, major contracting companies, specialized engineers, technicians, and those interested in this vital field) participate in visiting the exhibition and conference.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, several seminars were held on the future of the refrigeration industry, reviewing the opportunities and challenges facing the industry and the means of its growth and development, in addition to reviewing international experiences and the latest global systems in this sector.

More than 20 different free workshops will be held in all areas of the exhibition, covering a scientific explanation of part of the air conditioning system, the impact of the design of air conditioning systems on the maintenance and operation of equipment, how to develop appropriate maintenance plans to reduce the cost of maintenance, the consumption of spare parts and reciprocating refrigeration compressors, and achieving a balance between air conditioning, sterilization, energy saving and other considerations. Installation and operation of central air conditioning systems.

This sector plays an important role in the national economy now and in the future, especially with the plan set by the state to develop, advance the economy, and achieve the desired economic boom.

The exhibition aims primarily at export, so foreign delegations were invited to learn about the latest developments in the industry in Egypt and to contribute to concluding export contracts with the companies participating in the exhibition.

This year, the exhibition includes more than 250 exhibiting companies from major companies operating in the field, such as Johnson Controls Arabia, EGAT, LG, Fresh, Gree, Korra Energy, Rockal, International Call Center, Petrochem, Glass Rock, and Info. Tech, Ranko Cool, Delta Construction and Manufacturing, Andalusia, Egyptian-Swiss, Marshall, Dric, Qassis, Advanced Systems, Keyflex, Khader Trust, Al-Nada, in addition to national pavilions from Bahrain, China, Turkey, India, UAE, Uzbekistan, England and others.

It is expected that the number of visitors to the International Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industries Exhibition and Conference during its next session will exceed 20,000 specialized visitors over 3 days from Egypt, Arab, African, and foreign countries.
