Prime Minister Inaugurates the Third Edition of Sports Expo 2025
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly officially inaugurated the third edition of “Sports Expo 2025,” a premier exhibition and conference dedicated to the sports industry. The event witnessed significant participation from leading local and international companies specializing in sports technologies, equipment, apparel, and infrastructure. Joining the Prime Minister at the opening ceremony were Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports; Hazem Hamada, CEO of Delta Connex and founder of Sports Expo; alongside senior officials and prominent figures from the sports sector.
During his visit, Dr. Madbouly toured the exhibition’s expansive halls, beginning with the Ministry of Youth and Sports pavilion. There, he was briefed on innovative initiatives and programs designed to promote youth engagement and advance sports development nationwide. His tour also included a stop at Al Ahly Club’s pavilion, which highlighted the club’s latest sports and investment projects.
Additionally, he visited the pavilion of Captex, a leader in artificial turf manufacturing, where cutting-edge turf production technologies were showcased. The Prime Minister explored numerous other pavilions that reflected the diverse offerings of this year’s event.
This year’s Sports Expo stands out for its exceptional lineup of exhibitors from Egypt and abroad, representing a wide array of industries within the sports ecosystem. These include manufacturers of advanced sports equipment, athletic apparel brands, providers of technological solutions for sports innovation, and experts in infrastructure development for sports facilities. The event also features dedicated pavilions for major sports clubs and federations, offering insights into their latest developmental initiatives aimed at advancing the sector.
Hazem Hamada expressed his pride in launching the third edition of the Sports Expo, describing it as a landmark event for the region. “Sports Expo has solidified its position as the largest and most influential sporting platform in the region,” Hamada stated. “It brings together athletes, industry leaders, companies, and investors from across the globe to foster collaboration and drive growth in both local and international markets.”
He continued: “Sports today are no longer confined to recreational activities; they have evolved into one of the most dynamic investment sectors. This transformation is fuelling advancements in infrastructure, creating opportunities to nurture talent, and driving innovation across all facets of sports.”
Hamada further emphasized that the strong participation from Arab and local institutions underscores Sports Expo’s growing reputation as a trusted and impactful event. Reflecting on the success of previous editions, he noted that these achievements have paved the way for this year’s expanded format with broader participation from key stakeholders.
